The floor plan of the suite was really spacious. Great location near the Inner Harbour and the Parliment buildings.
We got upgraded to a suite that was really nice. A lot of space and a kitchenette. Really useful as breakfast was not included. The location is very good, close to the city area, but in a very calm neighbourhood.
A bit old fashion, breakfast not included.
Clean, well located, quiet, nice size room, free shuttle to town
Victoria has a high tax rate applied to lodging
The price was great for the comfort of the large room, kitchen and small dining area. There was no air conditioning but the numerous fans in the room were enough to keep us cool on a couple of warm August nights. The location - a 5 minute stroll along the inner harbour to downtown - was perfect. We would return.
We were only spending one night in Victoria so were happy to have a hotel where we could walk around the harbour and enjoy such a beautiful area.
We found some silverfish in the bathroom which is the reason I marked "fair" in the cleanliness part of the survey, otherwise the rest of the room was very clean.
We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was like staying in an appartment rather then a hotel. It gave us the freedom and space to entertain, eat in or out and walk to everything that we wanted to see.
The rooms are starting to show their age. A few upgrades would solve that problem.
The staff was very helpful and their pick up and drop off shuttle service was so convenient, also the location so close to the quay!
The location was superb and the room very comfortable!
Location, location, location! Price. Within walking distance of the beautiful harbour, pubs, restaurants, museum, IMAX, shopping, and parliament buildings. The hotel room was large, beautifully appointed, bright & clean. The little fridge, micro-wave, kettle & coffee maker were a bonus. The price we found on Booked.net was the best. We would stay here again.
Cozy as a boutique hotel
The warm friendly atmosphere generally and especially the people who worked there.
Very clean, great location with professional, friendly staff especially at check in and checking out.
Because of the season (October) the price was the same of a motel...
The hotel was very nice. The room was cleaned and organized. It was well equipped with the gifts shop to buy necessities.
Didnt like that you had to pay to use the printer
The staff (especially front desk and shuttle driver). The robes, umbrellas, and other little touches in the rooms were lovely.
